Major Stryker - Space Station 1

This is my own original play of the 1st Space Station level of this great EGA 16-color shmup classic for MS-DOS that was first released by Apogee Software way back in 1993! Up until the mighty Tyrian took the crown as the BEST MS-DOS shmup ever, Major Stryker sported some *truly* impressive 3-way parallax scrolling in only 16 colors indeed!!! ^-^=b !

This game was once shareware, but now it is officially FREEWARE by 3D Realms (formerly Apogee Software), and you can find the game at this address:

wow i came onto the scene in about 93-94 but i missed this gem, would have been real fun back in the day - impressive 3 layer scrolling!!!! and it dont look 16 color.

Actually 3dwardXP, I thought the three-way parallax scrolling was such an impressive feat indeed for an EGA-based DOS game, and Apogee did *such* a great job on making it happen in this shooter indeed... without question!!! ^-^=b !
