It is unfair to judge Tony Slattery on how he looks in this video - since it was shot during filming of Kingdom in which he plays Sidney Snell - the greasy haired, unshaven eccentric. He actually looks very well - see the recent clips from Grumpy Old Men

he's dressed up to look that way. It's his character. It seems as though he's been made to look older than Stephen Fry's character even though they are the same age in reality

Thanks. I'm guessing late 2006/7. Tony Slattery seems like a different person now than he was 10 years ago, but maybe that's a good thing considering how miserable he was in the late 90's. He seems a bit calmer, and less wacky.

He does mention spending 9 months combined filming for Kingdom, so it must be after completing filming of series 2 (autumn '07). My guess is spring '08.
