When I first heard Holly do this, I was mesmerized. The song means different things to different people. No other word can describe this version by HC but she owns this, way better than Celine Dion - amazing.

I could never really appreciate Holly's voice until I saw her in a show on T.V. in Canada several years ago. The last song on the show was 'Cruising' (I think that was the title) and because I had recorded the show I repeated Cruising all the time because it's just such a good, vibey song, really suiting her voice. She had some really good musicians accompanying her. Haven't found it on youtube yet...

It was first recorded by Jevetta Steele, a gospel singer. Celine Dion, George Michael, and Etta James, among others, also did versions. The song was used in the movie "Bagdad Cafe" and commercials for AT&T and was written by Bob Telson.
