@portantwas ..... yes this big... i live right next to the gap... we were having a bbq when it came through.. im only back in aus for 3 weeks so hopefully we get a storm at least one of the days :)

ha ha from where we were on the Goldy the "damaging micro-blast storm that ripped some houses apart." looked more like a mega blast storm... We watched it roll on by and yeh "The Gap" did get fucked on! A years passed and some poor ole people are still without a house!

holy shit!! 0:16 omfg this is the biggest pulse lightning strike i ever saw and i was there! it struck 17 times if u count in slow mo!!

i really hope there is another big storm like this one when i get back from the desert. i miss having a drink while watching the storms roll through west brisbane :)

@jv180sx Well maybe not THIS big cos it was pretty damaging. But it has been a really humid start to spring so I predict lots of storms this summer.

I couldn't figure out how to do italics because that is what the one storm event is known as - The Gap Storm. Some viewers wouldn't know that The Gap is a suburb, and I didn't want to confuse people.
