So many people gave me different interpretations to this cryptic song to me and none of them were convincing. When I was reading the book Yegdagella Aithe (village tongue for "Yoga is all inclusive") about Mukkundoor swami, I understood this with crystal clarity.
When someone sang this song for him, he admired it saying "How beautifully Sharifa-appa says this. Crazy monkey MIND got eaten by the cock OM!". It was meditation on sound. Other lines are also different meditations (of Shiva).

@jayvishful He says Oh sister, Hen has swallowed the Monkey. The poet starts of with a line that shows respect and dignity our motherland(India) has given to Women.
