Thanks Matt, I'm going to get a quote from them soon. I have a couple other questions, do you have an e-mail?

That's a lot of work! Nice job. Wondering - how much you sold the car for.

Me too I'm restoring a 1972 Midget

Hi there, Great Job! Did you fabricate the rolling rack yourself? or did you purchase this from a company? I am restoring a 1968 Mg Midget and am looking for reasonable lifts/racks/stands to help facilitate the undercarriage work.
thanks

Wow that is a Pro job right there.
Where did you get the portable Garage? Is it a special kind that allows you to have a clean painting environment?
I'm looking for somthing similar to restore a 72 Midget in... What would you recommend?

Hi Joe, It is a "Cover-it" now the Co. name is Shelterworkz I believe. I only did the priming in it but have used it to do full restorations before. If you get one of these instant garages get the thickest cover available and ask what kind of zipper it has for the door. I had a thin cover first which lasted 1 day longer then the year warrantee it came with! And it came with a very fine zipper that binds with the smallest amount of dirt eventually failing.

It sold on Ebay for 14,000, about 4,000 less then it cost for the parts and materials to bring it back to better then new condition. The only things I did not do myself was the chrome and machine work on the engine.

This film strip used to have music but Niel Young or his agents do not want anyone except the owner of the CD to hear it. Does this mean if I play it in the car I can't have anyone else in the car? And do I have to keep the windows closed so noboby outside the car can hear it? I regret buying his albums since 1970!!!!!

Ah! didn't notice the comment at the beginning of the video. Still, it's an excellent effort. Did you sand blast the shell? the underside looks quite remarkable - I've just been doing some rust-preventative work on the B and know how long it can take to get the underside of one of these cars looking even half reasonable.
Did you carry out he respray? - something I've never tackled myself.

Yes I blasted or stripped every piece of the car. Thats the worst job of all in my opinion. I did all the work except the machine work on the engine and the parts I had rechromed. Many parts I used are NOS or special order to bring the car back to original, like the grey piping on the seats and the correct yellow & white tracers on the wiring harness.
