Scientists SAY the ice caps are melting. They are absolutely correct, except they forgot one minor detail. They *forgot* to tell you that a current brings the water back around to the other side of the ice caps, then refreezes it on the other side. Once again, do research before believing everything you hear.

Scientists at MIT have confirmed the ice caps have GROWN since the 1970's. Look it up. Also, has everyone forgotten that almost 20 years ago the New York Times front page stated Approaching Ice Age?? The ONLY person responsible for the freakout from warming to cooling is Al Gore. Yes, polltion isnt good, but we arent causing global warming. Its a natural cycle. The guy above me, and everyone who thumbs down this message, I wont yell at you, I will just say do some research thats not form the TV.

umm the smartest scientists around the world all say that ACCELERATED global warming is man-made and all you have to do is look at the evidence to see that they are right. Ice caps are melting, the increase in temparature has increased exponentially (unlike the past) and hundreds of more species of animals are becoming extinct or endangered each day because of detrimental effect humans have on the environment.

Love the starbucks reference, however a 3rd grade science education is enough to understand this. At the same time however, nobody actually does understand it. Wierd how people just listen to what their told from a few TV commercials but not what their told from some of the smartest scientists in the world.
