"You'll Never Stop Me Loving You" is a debut single by Sonia Evans. Written and produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, it was the first and only number one single for the Liverpudlian singer. The song reached number one on the Billboard Dance/Disco Chart. The song helped cap a phenomenally successful summer for Stock, Aitken and Waterman, becoming the sixth number one single they'd been involved in during 1989. In 2006, the Australian group, Young Divas, covered this song on their debut album.

"You'll Never Stop Me Loving You" was released in United Kingdom in June 1989. It debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number fifty-five on 24 June 1989. It peaked at number one three weeks later, becoming Sonia's first and only number-one single there. The single was on the chart for thirteen weeks. In Ireland the song peaked at number one and charted for eight weeks.

In Australia the song entered the charts at number forty-four on 17 September 1989. It reached a peak position of twenty-nine four weeks later. The song charted there for eight weeks. In other countries where the single charted, it reached peak positions mainly in the top thirty.

The video for the song shows Sonia in a dance studio with a male partner. It makes a fine example of Sonia's bubbly image during the early part of her career.

Well I have to say that this video caused me the most trouble out of all the ones I have done so far. I couldn't get my hands on a decent enough dvd vob file. The one I have in my collection is dreadful and to problematic to use. So in the end I had to resort to a compressed mp4 file I have in my collection. It was somewhat blocky and a bit 'fizzy' which is the usual outcome of a poor quality source or incorrect compression/encoding settings. Still it was a good improvement over the quality of the dvd vob file I have in my library.

First step was de-blocking and it was a slow process taking quite a few hours. In the end I couldn't get rid of all the blocky bits without sacrificing too much of the image detail but it had been reduced dramatically and the result was more than acceptable. The 'fizz' was also removed as much as possible without sacrificing the image detail too much. Using various filters I tried to sharpen it as much as possible. The end result is not that bad at all. Not perfect but still much better than the originals. The audio has been replaced with a CD track as the audio in the source file I used just wasn't good enough.

The end result is a major visual improvement over all the source files I have in my possession. From what I can see, this upload is the best quality on youtube for this particular Sonia video. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed breathing new life into it.
