@U2FAN1992 Correct (except that any configuration was allowed as long as the diplacement was 3500 cc). Of course Mazda owners or other fanboys rather make up this bullshit about the "banning of rotary engines" rather than check Wikipedia and find out about the rule changes. I think many also believe 787(B) dominated... well, entering 21 races and winning one of them is not exactly domination.

the germans made a supercharger then figured it could be an engine then sold the design to mazda in japan :)
