Occupy Kelowna bylaw enforces to take down teepee Oct. 22, 2011, 11 oclock pm.MTS

At 5:00 pm we set up our teepee, at l0:58 pm Stephan Fleming the Kelowna bylaws superior officer showed up to enforce a city bylaw to tell us we had to take down our teepee because 11:00 pm to 6:00 am no structures were allowed to be erected in the red zone designated in Kerry park beside Kelwna sails. I told him my people have a right to occupy our traditional territory and that was a direct violation of our customary right and staff Sgt. Blake MACLEOD along with over 20 RCMP and 4 bylaws officials and Westbank First Nations bylaws officer Richard Johns were there to enforce the bylaw. CHBC, 1-866-853-6017 was notified at 6:57 pm by did not show at 11:00 pm By Senk'lip

@pwolikin I do not know who it is i am talking to no. The statement stands, if you don't like the country or its people, then leave and find somewhere which you are more comfortable.
