Are Jews disproportionately good at business?

Interviews with people all across the USA asking them if the think Jews are disproportionately, good at business and making money?

I asked my Grandmother this once after a racist teacher made a comment about being a rich Jew. She said, and I remember exactly, "We reward good choices in our family, and it is likely that other Jewish families do the same." Good choices like going to college as to not go? To study instead of not? To not use credit for things you can not afford? Someone who makes good choices often becomes a leader or manager (which often makes more money in society).

@JerrySPsy I am Jewish myself so I know what I am talking about. I never said we drop out of school more than the national average, I said in comparison to other kids from the same socioeconomic background as us, i.e. upper-middle class families, we seem to be a bit less likely to go to college. Jewish parents are nothing like Asian parents. Jews being more hard working is not true, unless they are poor immigrants.

@OhMaDayzz They certainly are more studious and more ambitious. This is ingrained into them from birth - the value of an education, the importance of doing well to support your family and give to charity. And for you to say the Jewish high school rate is more than most is ludicrous. The percentages of Jewish college graduates relative to their percentage in the population is the highest of any group. Genetics does not make you a doctor, lawyer, successful business owner, etc.

@AbsentAnyProof Sorry dude but Leibniz was Jewish - and so was Spinosa and Kant - and let's not forget Freud and Einstein. Many top geniuses were Talmudic scholars and Rabbi's who never gained fame. And then there is the genius of Speilberg, the violin music of Perlman, Gershman, and all the Jewish entertainers. How about all the Jewish Nobel Prize winners? Not bad for being only 2% of the population.

@eBayMafia Jews are not any more studious or hard working than other ethnicities. I know plenty of Jewish high school drop outs, way more so than kids from ethnicities from other middle or upper-middle class families. Jews being disproportionately successful in business just comes down to Jews being innately better at doing business than other ethnicities. It's a bit like asking why are blacks better athletes - it's all down to genetics.
