  • Man they fell fast..............they beat tonic to the washed up circuit.

from decently big hit in 97' to playing a free concert at Mills Point in 98'

  • @rwk1983 They were well paid for the show, there was nothing at all washed up about the band here they were still at the height of their popularity when they played here and ask anyone in this area they played an awesome show, check the crowd.... They lost a lot of popularity over the next couple years, putting them on the Warp tour was a big mistake.

  • @mitch26 How was being on the Warped Tour a mistake? They toured the globe with Warped...it probably got them tons more exposure than simple radio or TV airplay.

  • @Skibz778 You're right I wasn't thinking when I spouted that gem, and their earlier music was geared more towards the kids.

  • @mitch26 Ok dude but tonic dude tonic in 99'. completely washed up and it was like a joke at their concert (although they played pretty well) and they had a decently big hit in 97' (like the cherry p d's) and i just figured...............

  • Yeahhh Swing Rocks its ska for the late 40s haha, in this concert, there were even swing dancers on the place, cool!!!!

  • zoot suit riot rocked LOL

  • CPD were very active in the ska scene before the swing revival. In fact, a lot of their work prior to and after the 'Zoot Suit Riot' era contains a lot of ska, reggae and ska-esque elements.

  • its great on the bass both upright and electric

  • no shit, its obviously swing, cause ska sucks
