Enjoy this footage of Thunder, a timber wolf who works in film and television, captured on video in the mountains. At first glance we may assume he is too beautiful to represent the dark side of conflict. All too often, however, we become attached to the glamour, the righteousness, the glory of the battles in which we engage, and we lose sight, until too late, of the suffering we cause or experience. Thus, Thunder represents forces we must actively face in our effort to tame the wolf. Share this clip with friends, and introduce them to Taming the Wolf.

Technical Credits: Thunder provided by Steve Martin's Working Wildlife. Special thanks to trainers Chris & Bobi Edrington and Steve Martin. Cinematographer: Bradley Stonesifer; Camera Operator: Drew Lauer; 1st AC: Nick Savander; Hi-Speed Camera provided by Hollywood Special Ops
