How to access the Silk Road anonymous marketplace

The Silk Road is an online marketplace that uses the tor browser to allow users to anonymously buy illegal goods online. Here you can find pretty much any drug. You pay for the drugs anonymously using bitcoins. Lets get started on my first tutorial. :)

Step 1: Download and install the tor browser bundle: https://www.torproject.org/download/download.html.en (Note: Silk Road will not work using any other browser. It's a tor hidden service)

Step 2: Run tor, and enter the Silk Road URL.

Before you can buy anything, you'll have to buy bitcoins, an anonymous way to pay drug vendors. You can buy these online from different websites.

@kkuurrt Most of the ways you buy bitcoins are safe.The cheapest is mt.gox, but it is not necessarily the quickest. The only place that I've found accepts a different payment method is campbx, they take postal money orders but they take a bigger cut than mt.gox.

Bitcoins are not easy or quick to get, they are a pain in the ass. If I can help you in any other way let me know :)

@MrDakvan Scammers aren't a problem on SR, don't pretend they are. Deal with the right people and stay in escrow and you'll never get ripped off. Buyers scamming dealers is the real problem on SR!

As for idiots, yes it does attract them but it also attracts customers. I think SR should keep growing.
