@urbex2007 and I can guarantee you wouldn't. At no time was anyone put in danger, a vehicle is safest in a straight line. the driver was only advised to cross the white line when the road ahead was clear for a considerable distance. Did you spend any time at all listening to the advice the driver was being given? I doubt it, I think from your 'so many Police kill people' comment you have your preconceptions firmly set.

@urbex2007 He's only shaving corners where he can see it's clear and moving out going into bends to give increased visibility. There's no absolute obligation to stay left of the centre line on an open road. The poster says this kind of driving is only for those trained in it so it's not an invitation for Gav the chav in his souped up Saxo to go round blind bends on the wrong side of the road at 100mph.

I can guarantee if you were spotted doing this by Police, you would be stopped and prosecuted for careless or even dangerous driving. You are meant to stay on your own side of the road and if you can't do that at your current speed - slow down. It's similar to people indicating left and swinging to the right and then going left. No wonder so many Police kill people and cause accidents if they are taught this terrible method. The idiot in the ST will be even worse now, wait for the crash!

Sounds like a 5 cylinder engine? who was this coursefor and is vehicle fitted with blues and twos?
Hi This was filmed in a Focus ST. A member of the public who was bought a half day advanced training as a gift. His level of skill and knowledge allowed me to deliver a advanced/advanced lesson making more use of road positioning. It was not in a vehicle fitted with blues and twos. REMEMBER this type of driving is only appropriate to those drivers trained and in the absence of other road users. Third Party Perception!!
