Please read the complete verses starting from John-10:23 to 30, you'll probably see the different.
Then read also John 17:20-22:
"...That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.."
So, when Jesus said this to his 11 or 12 disciples, that we (Jesus+diciples) are one, it doesn't mean that the diciples are also god.They are one in purpose!

Matt. 8:20).
