"...That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.."
So, when Jesus said this to his 11 or 12 disciples, that we (Jesus+diciples) are one, it doesn't mean that the diciples are also god. They are one in purpose!
Jesus is one of the greatest prophet of God. He said THAT THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN HIM (Jn. 14:28),he DID NOT ACCEPT TO BE CALLED GOOD AND DEFERED TO GOD(Mk. 10:18),he PRAYED TO GOD (Mk. 14:32, Lk. 5:16),he REFERRED TO HIMSELF AS A PROPHET(Lk. 13:33-34),he is a servant of God (Acts 3:13, 4:27, 30, Matt. 12:18)REFERRED TO HIMSELF AS A PROPHET(Lk. 13:33-34)he MADE A DISTINCTION BETWEEN HIMSELF AND THE FATHER (Matt. 23:8-10),he Referred to himself frequently as SON OF MAN(eg. Matt. 8:20).
"Jesus IS God!" is one of the most foolish, false, deceptive, and demonic doctrines taught among many Christian religions.

Please read the complete verses starting from John-10:23 to 30, you'll probably see the different.
Then read also John 17:20-22:
"...That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.."
So, when Jesus said this to his 11 or 12 disciples, that we (Jesus+diciples) are one, it doesn't mean that the diciples are also god. They are one in purpose!
