Thanks to ClenVlog for the request, check him out- http://www.youtube.com/user/ClenVlog

Just a video with my opinion on famous Australian actors and actresses. People mentioned- Heath Ledger, Olivia Newton-John, Hugh Jackman, Simon Baker, Nicole Kidman, Rebel Wilson, Portia DeRossi, Andy Whitfield.

Rebel Wilson is awesome, check her out in Bridesmaids and on twitter- http://twitter.com/#!/RebelWilson

  • Does Rove Count? With Rove LA!

  • @1610Lulu I don't like to count Rove, as I feel as though he abandoned us, haha.

  • you gotta check out Yahoo Serious in 'Young Einstein' it's great! Don't watch any other Yahoo movie though.

  • @k1ng401 Haha, if I remember then I will.

  • I think hogan, Steve Irwin and Mel Gibson ruined the Aussie accent for Hollywood. I love hearing your accent. It's part of what make you you.

  • @jaz31 Thanks JT :) You have a Spanish accent don't you, I'm trying to remember back to that G&D show you were on. I always imagined you as having an American accent but I remember being surprised when I actually heard you.

  • Rose Byrne is Australian too :D

She was Helen in Bridesmaids. So that's two Australians in Bridesmaids

  • @SlimShayD I'll go haggle the screenwriters then :)

  • In case you didn't know... Hollywood is an American place where they make American movies. So USUALLY they demand their actors to speak American.

Ofcourse there are some specific roles where you can use other accents. Like an Irish accent in The Fighter or other non-English roles.

I remember the movie Australia I've watched. That's prob what you'd like.

But there's barely any demand for Australian roles. So I don't think it's the fault of Hollywood, blame the screenwriters.

  • @ItsMeKassandra no kidding!?! well he just does really dumb comedies. i'm partial to "mr. accident" myself. it's pretty goofy stuff.
