In Southern Sudan, constant attacks from the Arab militias in the North has led to a growing number of kidnap victims. But this is just part of the story. In the mid-1990s, a new trade sprung up, the "selling" of kidnap victims back their families. It has become a highly lucrative business for the kidnappers. Damien Lewis made a clandestine trip to Southern Sudan to find out the extent of the crisis.

Blacks sold their people into slavery as well as Arabs and Europeans. To try to blame one whole group while forgetting the others is stupid and that is what your doing. @XXXFreeSpirit There are many african muslilms that were enslaved and were sent to the new world. Ayuba suleyman diallo, Abu bakr al saddiq of Hausa Nigeria etc and many other. They were captured by other blacks and sold to whites. Slavery in the Americas is not the same as slavery in the Islamic world. Of course there is slavery in sudan but many of the north sudanese are just as black as the southerners. If you think that blacks did not enslave blacks than your being ignorant.

Arabs streamed out of the peninsular Arabia w Islamic zeal & colonized the Blacks, semi-White Syrians, Jordanians, Berber North Africans.
