As a matter of fact, I've lived in a Communist country for most of my life, and only left because it ceased being Communist.

I've lived in west and eastern germany.Communism has offered to society what the most developed capitalism will never be able to offer.It;s not a 'just' not wanting to share land in a communist state.It was indeed a civil war between those who owned the land after 'hard' work as you say and those you had nothing.I can understand your point of view,bill gates wouldn;t like his businesses become the property of the people either but sharing land and producing as much as needed is more logical.

My family was slaughtered there in different ways, exile, hunger, executions just because they didn't want to share their hard-earned possessions with alcoholics who never worked. Many of those who survived Soviet times are now proud of the rockets and whatnot, but they forget how many had to give their lives to get those tracktors and weaponry. Germany imo has the best political system in Europe. Social capitalism ftw!
