Audio and image generative algorythms featuring a furniture piece (arabescreen) based in the deconstruction of alhambra's arabesq
Audio and image generative algorythms, that translate the hipertextual processes carried out by Bea Goller and Yago Conde, since 1988, starting from the indeterminate deconstruction of alhambra's arabesque forms. arabescreen departs from these generative mechanisms, as well from the form, as from the inner texture of the material where arabesque-data layers are disposed in a parallel way, turning out into a fractal texture. The container is the texture; textures build containers...From abstraction to tangibility; from tangibility to the immateriality of ideas...
This video has been made in 2 phases:
video
There have been several captures from a virtual simulation of the model as a tangible way. On the other hand, there have been different captures of 3D abstractions, resulting deconstructed generative-organic shots from images of the folding screen and the arabesques.
audio
All tracks are generative performances of each video's fragment through the pure-data visual programming environment. The used technique has been a pixel tracking applied to a color, where all the changes of the image, provokes variations in the parameters of the audio synthesis: sample-lenghts, delays, feedbacks, tones, ...
