Determined to leave the ravages of war behind, 38 year old Gian Singh (Jimi Mistry) resigns from the British Indian Army to a quiet life. You can't measure how progressive a nation is based on the color of its president's skin. You have to look at how ALL the citizens of that country are treated.

Also, just because you are Black/Native, does not mean you can speak for the experiences of all African or Native Americans in the US. Maybe you've lead a charmed life but it's pretty arrogant to think that means no one else has to face racism/discrimination.

With the US, a lot depends on where you live.

And at the end of the day america has a president who is of color. Where's canada's if its so tolerant?
