Thanks ABC for your fake concern and sympathy about the human tradgedy stemming from these 'conflicts', 'UN police actions', 'nation building', and declared "war" (as you Wrong'ly' stated this to be) tradgedy that you help promote and sell, then and now. The compassion that you demonstrate as a corporate person is ever framed in duplicity and deceipt...as for the Americans shown here and especially those that are not seen, I owe a debt that I can not repay.
@Iceproductionss I never said anything against Moore or the guys that did the fighting, I thought that they could have got a better actor and an American not so fucking scum Aussie and yeah the film was shit could have been alot better in my opinion and I have read Moore's book and the book is a million times better than the film it was all poetic licence as far as I am concerned not enough grit like the real battle, but every respect to the CAV and the guys who fought the real battle ,
Hal Studied the veit minh tactics from the french war and was one of the first American commanders to understand his foe. There were some good south vietnamesse combat leaders often they were not put in charge by the veitnamesse gov. col chou who ran pasification effort of kein ho province was verry good and got his province free of the vc for a time
The American administration was convinced that the south veitnamesse gov would fall to the communist without american troops but we couldn't win the war for the south veitnamesse we failed to provide the south veitnamesse with a political system choice that they belved benifited the people of south vietnam. and that the rest of se asia would go communist at least Thiland remained non communist out of it.
@BS1965able Hal moore made sure that film was as accurate as possible. if your predudiced against mel thats your problem. sam elliot did a great job as sgt major plumbley he reminded me of my grandfather a ww2 sgt who raised me.
tragedy! tragedy! deceit!.........and a genuine "thanks" for posting these vids.

@BS1965able I also thought the movie sucked badly. The book on the other hand was excellent. Perhaps that is what set my expectations too high.
