@applmac2009 I wouldn't say so off key. If she's off-key, the song wouldn't sound even right. I think what you meant to say is pitchy because she's walking here and there and at times she's off beat a little bit during the super fast verse (bobby womack) and maybe that's because she's out of breath. But I'm very sure that this was live.

I remember seeing this on tv when i was 8 and it was the first time i was introduced to mariah and her beautiful voice and whistle register. GOD I LOVE HER :]!!

@Litalici0us i know she could be lipping, but here her motions are obviously out of synch, due to the video. Now she can be lipping, but this corrupted file, is not the benchmark to test the theory.

First it sounds exactly like the studio version
And when she is lipping she forgots to "sing" you know and she's overacting

@Litalici0us i don't think so, she's breathy, and if she was lipping why would she be so off key. The words coming out before her mouth moves. She is usually more fluid whens she lips. So here i saw she's live.
