If the top response were accurate the band would not advise reading books such as "Ancient Secrets of the Flower of Life" by Drunvalo Melchizedek. This music was meant to be analyzed to be completely understood. I had always heard Tool's music when I was younger and it just sounded like good music. Never put much thought into it. I went on a Sacred Geometry binge =) and started studying Alex Grey. That lead me to Tool, and after understanding the music, the experience is like going to church.

yeah im really sure that Tool spends hours a pone hours going through mathematical equations to make there music just so than can see if they can get ppl to follow some ridiculous mystic message embedded deep in there lyrics. no one would spend as much time as they do creating such master pieces just to see if they could get sheep to follow . It is said that a messenger will come to the people in a way that most people will shun and it will only be heard by the chosen.

@gibby462 Nah not just me; mainly people like me who liked Tool long before Limp Bizkit gave them the thumbs up so it was ok for everyone else to like them too. Tool have always been; and probably always be, a joke band. They just make up loads of mystical bullshit so silly fan-boys can spend hours on the internet debating the deep meanings behind it all. Hilarious; that's why I love them! It's all about destroying your ego and not taking yourself seriously...
