@MaestroDraven To your points, in order: Yes but 3D rendering and gaming is literally the only thing OS X does slower, and the difference is negligible. Security against what? The last time OS had a major virus outbreak was never.

You're saying there's been NOTHING new implemented from the original System Software (or Mac OS) and OS X 10.7? I'll just have to take your word for it, since you obviously know what you're talking about (I mean you used obscure terms like OpenCL and GCD, wow!)

Good suggestion, but I don't see the innovation you speak of. The OS is slower than Windows 7 at high computational workloads like rendering. The security is practically nonexistent, making it the most vulnerable and exploitable of any OS on the market, and all this talk of "200 new features" in each iteration of the OS is a smokescreen for the simple fact that there's really nothing new going on. OpenCL and GCD are living proof of that. CUDA beat it to the punch years ago.

@CJ9ELITE had a macbook pro,the thing crashed so many times a day it wasn't funny.eventually the hard drive became so corrupted it had to be replaced i took it into the shop to get it repaired got told it'd cost 500 dollars to fix,even with the warranty.ended up selling it to the computer repair store for parts,last Apple computer i ever owned or will buy period.
