  • @UpTopJerkz As far as I knew, the Xacti VPC CG10 only had up to 720p. The Settings for the best 720 video is always the having it on advanced mode, and changing the iso to 100. Then you put the aperature(f-stop) to 3.5 to 4.7 and nothing higher if possible. Add or decrease light by moving light closer and farther (If possible), or move the subject closer or farther from the light until you have visually the best picture. Also use manual focus and control focus accordingly.

  • @henry142003 Yeah, Do You Know What Settings I Need To Use For 1080p To Work Good?

  • @UpTopJerkz Your welcome. I understand that it only shoots 720p and the video only ends up choppy depending on what settings and shutterspeed the video is set to. Usually, the faster the shutter speed, the less choppy the video. It also depends on your NLE system rendering and trans-coding settings.

  • @henry142003 Thank You! I Have This Camera Too! When You Record In 1080p Does The Video Get Really Choppy For You?

  • @UpTopJerkz Focus was always set to manual for this shoot. ISO was constantly set at 100 to try and ensure the highest picture quality possible. I adjusted the shutter speed and the aperture setting(f-stop), in order to compensate for any brighter or darker situations.

But ISO 100(or lowest possible depending on camera) and manual focus are two great keys in getting great picture quality with your camera.

  • Can You Please Tell Me Your Focus && Iso Settings?
