The aim of this video is to present you how to use the « Remove DC Offset » effect available in Wave Editor (audiofile engineering) as a powerful sound design tool.
My method is incredibly simple! All you have to do is to generate a waveform material and apply the « Remove DC Offest » effect until you get the sound you are looking for.
Following, I will present you how to make some basic kicks by using this method. By practicing I'm sure that we could create more interesting sounds.
I've found this feature by chance and don't know if it will work with another sound file editor.

Very interesting tip.
I'm trying this out in another sound / wave editor.
The fade overlay you are using, is that a kind of volume envelope?

@Hyper5nic Hi, I'm not sure that will work on another sound editor... I've tried on audacity and it does not work, other people have also tried on something else and it does not work too... It seems that is more a "bug"... and I wish they will not solve it! Rather they could develop another "Remove DC offset" feature... Regarding "Fade overlay" yes it's a volume envelope. "Wave editor" is a really nice software. Cheers, FAC
