  • was the back pressure compromised in any way

  • @stinkyspacenuts yes it must have, killed a lot of power think from engine running to lean.

  • Respond to this video... nice job, that sounds and looks great

  • Respond to this video... when bike was stock the front end would come up with hard 1 to second shifts, now it comes up when i roll into it in first gear and has far flatter throttle response through entire range.

  • curious was it running lean????

  • @MrSleeps yes i think it was, i put a thermocouple and meter on my header and rode around. i bought a power commander to richen it up and k&n filter. 700 F with hacked exhaust, 630 F with filter and programmer. just bought power commander 3 to protect my motor. first off they come so lean from the factory to pass emissions and after i reduced back pressure it was even worse. difference with filter a PC3 was amazing.

  • Sounds like shit

  • Thank You.

  • all you are doing is helping your flow and creating a resienation chamber

  • your vid was very helpfull thank you i love my z1000 one of my buddys said she now sounds like a chopper haha i love being loud and a pain haha. i love how i can show up harley riders any day of the week. btw if u just take the baffles out and not chop the pipes real short you should not end up killing the back pressure plus keeping the end caps on help to keep some back pressure there not really a difference if you have an aftermarket short can on it
