There's actually character development so some of the people who you stark off "liking" may not be everything you hope for, while some of the characters you saw as villains make a change for the better. It why a series like this beats out LoTR in my opinion.

Guys I don't know if I wanna start watching this epic series. I am seriously afraid it will end really wrong in my pshyce :/

I start it today cause one of my friend was talking about it and it sounds pretty good. I'm at the episode 4 of the first season and why is this so good? Well it's actually good to me cause it looks like a mix between Lord Of the Ring and the Tudors (because of lot of naked people and bed scenes but also cause the main characters are from the court). In this show, you can't really like the bad people as you can do in HP or LOTR (i actually liked the bad characters), you just want to punch them.
