what exactly happened? an accident or something?

i took some award winning photos of matt and the rest at last years florida ren fest in florida and formed a friedship with them all. just found out today, 2-9-08 that he had passed at this years ren-fest.

so what happened? id rather hear on here than go ask them personally as to not stir up any emotions.

Matt and his family were going through some really tough financial trouble and he ended his life on Dec.22nd

Krizia, thank you for posting this. I just learned about Matt's passing at the Raleigh Ren Faire and am just devasted. We met him there 2 years ago and he showed such kindness to my 3 year old daughter then. He showed her the horses and made her feel like a princess. The next year she came back just to see him and brought him a picture of them together, and he lifted her into the ring. It was just an ordinary kindness, but we will never forget him and will miss the joy he brought to us all.

I will forever and always miss matt. He was an amazing person, friend, and rider. I as many others learned too much to count from this absolutely wonderful person. I will never stop missing him. Rest in peace my brother.

IT IS a beautiful slideshow. My sister and I met Matt once (3 years ago) but we know his brother Olissio and his friend Kerry. We're truly sorry for your lost. It's obvious that, by the way his friends talked about him, he was an amazing person with all the good qualities that can be expected from a brother, father, friend and a performer. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
