Now the rest of you (remaining) NBA fans know how it feels to not have your team play for your city on opening day(lockout)! The citizens of Seattle/KingCounty/WA. State recognized that they were going to get f'k'd over by a corrupt league and tried to back that up w/ votes against an unnecessary new stadium. We, even after 40+yrs as NBA fans, got shafted.

You guys in Seattle now know how it feels to be us in the Carolinas and see the Hornets up and leave. Atleast you guys team changed the name in the move. There should be a rule on leaving and if the teams have high attendances the NBA should try and buy out a team for profit to keep them in that city. That's why the NBA continues to have poor ratings and even with all the hype this year they continue to have poor ratings compared to all the other sports.
