@WadaHolic Well this is true and I 100% beilive he didnt edited this video in any way.. Did you made it out of 3d models with highresultion textures or lines with hight resultion transparent mid texture xD?

hey, WadaHolic, care to post a new video of the new way of doing this with meshes now? id really like to see it ingame.
as for the people still wondering how. its pretty simple :P alot of additive transparent textures put up in a tight row. nowadays tho hes doing it with 3D models (i think)

3D models are the way to go these days. You can do a lot more with a mesh based effect (animated lights etc). I'll post a new video soon, except the effects I'm displaying in this video are just merely techtest elements for a much larger project.

This is crazy.. but its hard to say if its real or not. Also anyone else notice the specular on the floor??

Its real, the specular on the floor is a simple reflection which Skulltag and GZDoom now features.
