The Hunter Saw The Comet [Piper and Dean Crossover]

After looking over the 'No Regrets' video and the comments I knew I wanted to make another Piper and Dean vidlet, only better.

I had always wanted to use 'The Boy Saw A Comet' speech from OTH even though I have never actually watched the show. The speech was touching and for some reason screamed Piper and dean to me, their angst just needs to be put into words. I spent well over a year searching for the audio that it eventually came down to me downloading the episode and playing around with the audio.




The video is suppose to show the past and memories of Piper and Dean in two separate POV's. The OTH audio is Dean's POV and the normal audio is Pipers POV. From the time they both saw each other for the first time (Piper going to a dating agency to find Mr Right and Dean seeing Piper walking down the streets with her sister) to their return at the end.

OTH: It was a comet.

PIPER: Who the hell are you?
DEAN: My name is Dean Winchester. I'm an Aquarius. I enjoy sunsets, long walks on the beach and frisky women.
PIPER: Who writes your stuff?

OTH: The boy saw a comet. The boy saw the comet and he felt as though his life has meaning. And when it went away, he waited his entire life for it to come back to him, and he has faith that it will even though his Science and his intellect tells him it won't. His heart still believes.

PIPER: It doesn't matter.
DEAN: I know... I'm sorry.
PIPER: I don't know how to say goodbye.

OTH: It was more than just a comet because of what it brought to his life. Direction, beauty and meaning

PIPER: I don't want to hear it.
DEAN: Don't get mad at me. Don't you do that, I had to look out for you, that's my job.
PIPER: Would you please stop trying to save me

OTH: There were many who couldn't understand. And sometimes he walked among them. But even in his darkest hours, he knew in his heart that someday it would return to him and his world would be whole again. And his belief in God, and in love, and in art would be re-awakened in his heart.

DEAN: I wanted you to know, that when I do myself happy.... it's with you.
PIPER: I love you.

OTH: The boy saw the comet and suddenly his life had meaning.

Did you use a coloring or overlay for this video?

@AutumnMaidenDove I changed the levels of the video and then I used a texture which I dimmed by lowering its transparency but I also think I used the levels on the texture to make the red more prominant. Hope this answers your question.

That was just unbelievably amazing!!!! It was so beautifully put together!!!! I love the audio and I love the clips you used!!! Oh my god, this was absolutely beautiful. Honestly, it's left me speechless. Just fantastic, it really is. Your voiceovers give it such emotion, I especially loved the one where Piper is like "Will you stop trying to save me?" It just went....so fucking well, ignore my swearing lol!!
