As a life long Pens fan I will say that this is ridiculous,uncalled for,and plain horse shit.If this was pay back for downie's hit ,it's simply gutless at best.1 game is a joke too.This should have been 5-10 games only bc he's not a repeat offender.Kunitz plays a tough style of hockey,and he plays hard with an edge to his game.He's a very good player.To see him stoop to this level is a fucking shame.There's no room for this shit in hockey.Hopefully the nhl wakes the fuck up!!!

I would rate Kunitz's elbow an 8. I'd give him a 10 if Gagne was out for the season. Go Pens!!!

Kunitz eats dick!!!!!He was clearly trying to hurt Gagne.He should've got more then a game!!!He's probly mad because Gags and the lightning shited on his team haha...man u sure do wish Gagne was a Flyer again.He was my fav player.

@XboxDouchetage LOL..Out of all the fan's on here your's and DET are the most ignorant.No disrespect intended.Although,I've met plenty of flyers fans on here that are pretty cool.When I was a student at Pitt,there were a ton of kids from eastern PA that went to school there.My roommate was from center city Philly.The Pens and flyers were playing in the playoffs.We would have like 30 people in our apt watching the game,and cheering for their team.No fights just some beer,a little smoke and hockey

@bern1417 Well thankfully gagne was not injured as far as we know, and yes these kind of things need to be handled. I have met quite a lot of ignorant, and quite a lot of smart fans on every fan base, it is just that 90% of almost all fanbases are very ignorant.

@XboxDouchetage lol i gotcha.The flip side is on youtube you're probably dealing with a lot of 15-19 yr old's.Therefore they'll just argue to argue bc you're a flyers fan,or they'll argue bc they haven't been into hockey all that long.Or they just don't see it being that bad.This was bad.. it maybe the worst elbow of the year.

@Bern1417 I was saying that a lot of Pens fans are saying that 3 games tops is what it should be because he is not a repeat offender, but this was so blatantly intentional compared to say Mike Richards on Kaleta last night where he put up his elbow to protect himself, not intent to injure, and Chris really wanted to hurt him.

@XboxDouchetage I disagree about the games.1 or 2 games is nothing.Look at how many head shots there have been and teams are only 5 games deep into the playoffs.I think there's been 4 or 5 suspension incidents already,and like 7 or 8 total head shots that people want to debate.If you want to get your point across start with 3 games.It would suck bc you would hate for a suspension to change,win,or lose a series.However,until the NHL starts coming down on players theres going to be some injuries.
