Adobe After Effects, using PixelMagic's (slightly outdated) Force Lightning Tutorial on TFN. With some modifications, it can work in the latest versions of AE. I'll try to turn out a tutorial of my own, along with my blaster tutoral (see my latest video).

Its actually from an obscure fanfilm I found online one day. Don't ask, I forget what it was called. Anyway, I lifted it off using sound recorder (that's why you can hear what I think is two sabers clashing towards the end) and didn't bother to mention it in my non-existent credits. But don't tell anyone.

Check out PixelMagic's lightning tutorial on TFN. It's outdated, but if you make some slight changes you can probably make it work. Message me if you need any further help.
