  • very nice, have to do it fast though otherwise they'll punch you in the face, but good video, nice form

  • Thanks

  • like the guy is just gonna let you do that...

  • The guy is gonna let me do the escape, the guy is my training buddy.

  • He's your friend... you think that in real life if someone is on top of you beating you up that they are gonna be your friend? It's only worth showing this if you put it in a proper scenario.

  • In real life... In real life some suicide bomber can blow up our dojo in a click. Real life...

What we are doing is trying to document, on the Akban-wiki, all the techniques we do.

Trying to document martial arts techniques is pretty different then trying to show the techniques in sparring.

You are probably right, we should retake this technique, but it is still a basic level and it won't work against an experienced opponent or an opponent that does not do Jiu Jitsu but uses fists.

  • non è proprio cosi...

  • i like how no one reads the comments from other videos and sees that they are documenting this. Nearly every video I see from ninjalla, they have to repeat again and again "we're documenting this" lol

  • @lycourisDE92 I have a BJJ friend who I roll with, and we use "simulted punches" (not fully hard) when we roll sometimes. You can still distract, or pick your timing first, then employ this technique well, or you could always eat a few, while still doing the technique, knowing that the alternative is far worse. You'd be unlucky to get KO'd.

  • the left hand should grip the hip and pull it toward your left, the right hand which grips it should start with the elbow already wedged inside the thigh. subtle but can raise the success rate.
