@JayaseerlourdhuraJ cannon is great, i went for sony because their accessories cost less and based on what I do with my camera, it was perfect, hope it worked well for you. Merry Christmas

@Ruffneck101 Thank u for the reply... i ended up with canon eos 550 d which is more best in video full hd quality... i never wanted to go for sony products as i have heard lots of people told canon is the best... anyway friend thank u so much...

@kommeht00 i got it for $1000, and 5 years warranty, i then bought a new battery, case, tripod, and high fidelity stereo mic and got them a lot cheaper and 2 years warranty on each. They through in a bluetooth mic for free, thumbs up for sony.

@JayaseerlourdhuraJ for video, the sony xr520v is better because its specialized in that region. The nikon is good to, but not for motion, just for still video. i own the sony, and the camera is great, but it is actually better to record the video in normal quality, then slow it down in your editing program (i use Sony Vegas 9 Pro and Adobe After Effects CS5). The quality is better.

@CameraTechnology Hello buddy am more confused to buy cameras... i like sony HDR-XR520vr with 240gb camera and also Nikon d 3100 which is more good could you please help me finding it. As some says sony cameras and this camera especially will support softwares only sony vegas is that true? v cant use any other softwares to edit the film when v use sony HDR-XR520vr is that true? please clarify my doubt... am in big confusion to buy sony HDR-XR520vr or Nikon d 3100... Please help me...

@jinkis4 you can make it slower, just edit it in a video programm. due to the frame rate it'll look still smooth
