-From, "MOSES THE LAWGIVER" (USA, 1975)
-"MOSE" (Italy, 1974)
-"MOISES" (Brazil)
-"MOISE, LES DIX COMMANDEMENTS" (France)
A television mini-series about the Biblical Moses, played by Burt Lancaster. It was re-edited into a feature film a year later.
Ennio cuts through his crest of trumpet swells with an almost spy-like guitar. This score began his transition toward scoring American films beyond his stellar work in Italy.

This is one funky track. Does Moses get into a footchase with a drug baron through an Italian subway station?
"He's the one good cop in a lawless town, and he's cleaning up the streets, one commandment at a time. Moses IS The Lawgiver. Rated R."

Yeah, right. There's this scene where Moses picks up his electric guitar and plays the Red Sea to hell.
