I'm not quite sure why you made this comment. Practicing any move WILL make you a better player. What each player must figure out is where she/he is starting and then build from there. If you don't have fundamentals like basic ball control...obviously, that is what you need to start with for sure. The juggling you mentioned is key...just as toe taps, dribbling with all surfaces of both feet, and other moves/fakes/feints are to first control the ball without pressure.
....Doing this drill will not make you a better soccer player. juggling will improve your touch on the ball which is the most important skill in soccer.
Thanks for the tips.. I'm just starting soccer and (im a girl) i usually dont play soccer just volleyball and basketball and baseball.. so ur tips came in so much handy thanks!!
Thanks for making a 2nd video, I am always looking for new tips. Too bad the wind was so strong - hurting the mike. Like to see the stop over and stop in slo-mo. We will practice this in the Spring. Also, at the end what website do you say visit? I can't hear over the wind. Also, looks like you lost weight since the 1st video. Congrats.
Thanks again.
John - an U10 coach who never played growing up, but an enjoying learning with my sons.
True. The form could be crisper(I'll keep that in check), but at least the progression is the focus here. It can be applied with any move(s) and can be used in attacking and defending. Thanks for sharing.
Right!!! Crossover requires that you also move your shoulder. Just swinging a leg over the ball like that defender will kick the ball and get a lick of your leg,too (figuratively, I meant).
