Derek and Jimbo return to play a couple of nice English tunes in our usual lively style, These 2 tunes are Tom 'O' Vickers and Knifes Edge (notice we go back to the first one again.
Played on D/G Castagnari's (Dony12 & Mory) in Em / D

  • Yer i remember seeing you :) should of joined in :D ... We were in the man of kent saturday night because the rest of the team wanted to watch the french band... I should of come over to be honest would of lived to hear you play. Hopefully will see you around somewhere :)

  • @MissSaltarelle we went to the 'good intent' as the 'Man of Ken't was packed!" ... could'nt get in! ..so we kept walking! :-)

  • Could of done with you to in the session at rochester! Would have definatly livened it up :D its a shame i didnt get to see you play

  • @MissSaltarelle ... OOOps .. walked past you in the Gordon hotel sunday afternoon (in the Chiltern 100 green jacket) ..i believe! .. (beer was taking over :-) ... i played with Jimbo @ the Good Intent session on Sat night!

    We def need to plan things better next time!

  • For me its now 15 years!... blimey im old! for young Jimbo he started as a kid and then gave it up! ... came back to it about 6 years ago and we got to play together to develop the style with a lot of influence and help from Saul Rose the Melodeon Legend! Derek

  • It was completely packed! Was no room to move...i seen Jimbo at the good intent on friday but unfortunatly he didnt play maybr you were there and i didnt spot you, also sunday the session was pretty poor there too as there was some fiddle players playing alot of irish and in the end most people left.

  • Nice. There's only one thing that sounds better than a well playes Castagnari, and that's two of them. Or maybe a good Salterelle.
