TAMIL ROSARY: SECOND JOYFUL MYSTERY - VISITATION

The recitation of the rosary has been a popular devotion of the Catholic Church all over the world. This "Tamil Bhajan Rosary" is composed with simple melodies based on the biblical stories of the 20 mysteries intertwined with Catholic tradition and Theology. This is the first initiative to help the Tamil Catholics to Sing the Rosary and the stories of the mysteries. Over the centuries, Catholics have found the rosary an ideal prayer, because it reminds them of Mary's response to the will of God, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38). That response became Mary's characteristic response to God throughout her life. We believe these simple melodies will help the Tamil Catholics all over the world to meditate the mysteries of Jesus' birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection.
