  • wow noo intonation!!

    and tuning

    this needs work- :/

    just some more practice-

i dont understand this cadenza its all country lol

it dosn't really sound like any previouse melody :/

  • I don't know who it was that wrote that Cadenza, but it was written very poorly.

It had no relation to the piece or anything that you played previously in the concerto.

I thought that the first violin section was pretty weak too.

  • as for the soloist, Honey, I agree with awefunkyviolin. You are the soloist, make them bastards work with you. Be sure to check your tuning before playing this. I am going to say this piece is good for you just work out the kinks in it, Overall good job and keep working. This is not an easy concerto by no means, I have to say I like when you open with the chord at the beginning instead of the pick up note on the exposition and the recapitulation. good job

  • Ok who ever wrote this cadenza need to be shot and I am not being mean, but I feel that it does not fit with the concerto at all.

  • Not bad overall, I can tell that some of the intonation issues were in fact the camera's fault. The cadenza, however, was a disgrace. Hoffmeister did not intend for his concerto to be interrupted by klezmer.

  • this needs a boatload of work. no offense but horrible. im playing this tomorrow for north jersey region orchestra auditions and what you play is so bad and wrong. work on it

  • It's tough to play as a soloist with an orchestra! One thing you always have to remember is to play LOUD!! I made the mistake of just playing the way I normally would in a rehearsal when I was a soloist and my teacher was like 'COME ON! You have to stand out! You're the soloist for heaven's sake!'. Good job! It takes a lot of courage to go up and play in front of an audience!

  • godam that sucked so bad i pueked and peed myself a little

  • but i forgot to say good job this piece isn't the easiest!@!!

    :]]

  • ahhhhh!!!! intonation! still, good job.
