Some cool tactics here. From the flick Way of the Gun

Christopher McQuarrie's brother, a US Navy SEAL, was technical advisor for the gunfight scenes, hence the realism of the coordinated movements, use of cover, and room-clearing tactics used by Parker and Longbaugh.

  • In the special features of this film the technical advisor is a Navy Seal operator. Actually its the director's brother who is a Seal Team member. Hence the more realistic tactics in this movie. Its pretty cool and refreshing to see this type of weapons handling/tactics in a hollywood movie. Story wise this movie was not great but its a great movie if you are into the "realism".

  • Can't you people see there are guns here? GET. THE FUCK. OUT. GET OUT!

  • Actually, that's not correct. The stunned whores have to be instructed to leave, as well. Watch the movie again if you don't believe me. But hey, nice racism there, sport.

  • I love this movies 'cause guns sound how they actually sound. I've never understood why Hollywood paints over their firearm sound effects when they sound so much better in real life.

  • @dustyaries there's actually a theory that every major player in this movie is gay (with notable exception of a couple characters), and Benicio winking might be a reference to this.

  • @thrasher123

All the great films lack realism, but all the realistic films lack a really good story. I think that you can't have both in one movie.

  • @kennedyhair84 they were actually pointing them at the woman. they were telling the kidnappers they were perfectly willing to shoot the woman if necessary

  • why was the guy pointing the gun at the baby??

  • This is a great scene. I think the "bagman" scene at the Mexican hotel was even better.

  • everything dose not go 100% by the book every fucking time ! because if that was the case police would not be shooting citizens or doin the major fuck ups you see on t.v an in your daily life !

  • @LazyMan9000 I see what you mean now, when Benicio lowered his weapon, place his non-dominate hand on his vest and (it appears that he) winks at Tyrise before he peels off to his covering position. I think Benicio truly wanted to egg him on for that showdown.
