souji die on the manga...but they didnt finish the manga, to show that he was deading...I,m so glad they didnt finish it...it was getting really sad seeing Souji like that

okita souji does not die in the anime. but he dies only four years after the date of the ikedaya raid in combat and has a late stage of tuberculosis.

yeah i know i looked it up on yahoo and it said he died in a hospital in Edo i think it said Edo. So sad he got it from is mother or sister who knows where he got TB from.
