Christians make terrible horror writers. Find an Evilist, Satanist, or committed devil worshiper. They know horror, they live it. A Christian writing of that which they do not know makes for an awful read, just as it would a Buddhist, atheist, or Wiccan doing the same thing. A real horror writer transforms his work as much as the work transforms him. So if you think evil and horror are exclusive elements you are terribly mistaken. Write only of that which you actually know!

@viper8red - interesting, I have been writing successful Horror for a long time - though, you wouldn't know this naturally -- but I see you have a view that is interesting. So, the next time you want to write about death do you propose to try it first to make sure you know enough? That is what you are saying after all.

I'm a Christian and I write horror. No blood! No gore! Just good atmosphere and a style that tries to make the reader perplexed and a little uneasy. It's has nothing to do with Satan, but it does delve into our own human fears. I write in the traditional ghost story genre. No vampires;no zombies;no ghoules. Just good old fashiond fear.

N. an overwhelming and painful feeling caused by something frightfully shocking, terrifying, or revolting; a shuddering fear. So Piss off u pussy!
