I first heard this song in the movie "FM". It was the part where one of the DJ's decided to give up the job and lifestyle of the entertainment industry. I ran out and bought the soundtrack. In my opinion its one of Dan's best songs.

all his songs are so beautiful...i feel ashamed that I discovered Dan after his death.. what can I say.. he is a star now.. (together with so many other "stars" ..) it must be loving and beautiful in heaven...

It may be one of the most understated cliche's of all time, but the world lost more than a man and a musician when Dan left us.
I miss him still, as much as I did the day I learned of his death, and his music keeps pulling me back.

Gave me chills, goosebumps and tears. I got Souveniers album back in 1978. I loved it so much, I wore it out, then cassette and CD's . He was a deeply spiritual person. I feel so honored that you put this on Youtube...Can someone do "Passage"? I am posting these on FB for people to learn about him and his music. Thanks everyone for your posting.

This song has been an inspiration to me for over 30 years and still is now. I am so sorry he's gone. He is truly is the most gifted artist I have ever known. He will be mised.
