Extremely obvious TAS, but still awesome
-
@corey41 because that way he doesnt have to wait for the flag to come down!
-
TASR much??
-
that was computer assisted help...NOT on an NES box cartridge. Pretty cool to watch...but TOTALLY UNREALISTIC in regular play....what a tool
-
@corey41 because it will kill mario after taking a flag
-
@superhappyfunzone Actually, you're right. And 99% of TASs say so in the title. That's why I was confused. It's shameful that this person didn't.
-
@FlintyFalcon The point is, this person did not do it in 1 try. He was able to use tools to go back seconds to where he made a mistake, and try again. There were even some parts where he slowed the game down to a pixel at a time, and made inputs ever second. He didn't play the game normally, he just showed it's potential.
It's called a TAS. It's a type of speedrunning, but it takes 0 skill. Just planning.

Whether or not this was done on a computer is irrelevant to me lol... This many pixel perfect jumps in a row still deserves dome props. Prop where credit is due! lol
-
@Deboogs He's running/swimming backwards in some of the worlds. That only happens when you're playing on a computer. You can do this faster while on a computer. Boom. Roasted.

This game is only five minutes long? Boring.
Mario: Oh, you got kidnapped? No prob, be there in 5!
