additional directors my ass... greedy bastards is the phrase i'd have put in the credits.
"after the fact people do need credit..."
"its gonna be more people coming out of the woodwork"
"i'm not being credited for stuff that i clearly directed"
"was i happy? i just didnt feel like... cause i did st...i dunno. was i happy? man thats a tough question."
its greed all around.
a piece of art is made by the creator(s). it should have been the only name on that piece.

It's so hard because filmmaking isn't a solitary experience, every one needs each other.

this is why i don't enjoy making films any more.

i dont understand why brad felt that he deserved writing credits as well? The directing credits was far-fetched, but writing!? What's the story behind that?

I adore the song in the beginning. And I slightly giggle every time I see the clips with Mark.

yeah, making a film sucks because, first, you can't do it alone, so inviting other people into your project in inevitable. it sucks because it's not that you don't appreciate their help, it's just that this is your baby and you guys were the mom and the dad, and it's sad because for some reason there were way too many people trying to be the parents also and confusing the message you were trying to promote in your movie because they wanted to be a bigger part of it than you hired them for.

unbelieveable.

Brad in this ep. sounds so frighteningly emotionally manipulative and psychologically overanalytical, regardless of whether or not he was right. The genesis of his involvement is an entire book in and of itself. Goodness!

Well I wish the story had been that we value the work that was contributed to the project & we express how much we value that in a way that could be heard. In the future I hope that will be the story for new projects.
But this was all new to me & Susan & collaborators were sensitive and new as well. There was no intention to manipulate during the interviews. But instead to get inside of the other points of view and hopefully heal the situation.
