This is a Full Tour over the functions and usage of the Korg Kaossilator. Also This is the first video for http://kaossilator.wordpress.com A blog that will be covering everything about the Kaossilator.

Since this is the first of a series of videos the content is basic, i hope you enjoy the video and get something usefull out of it. My next video will be about the "secret"/"hidden" kaossilator modes, like i say in the video, i'll be covering all of them not just the 16bar/double length one.

Thnak for watching and have a nice day =)

  • I don't know exactly why, but I love your accent!

  • @DJSnwfall thanks, maybe I should get a job like movie narrator... something like morgan freeman maybe =)

  • @3amsleep I'd watch it, even if it was on the life cycle of rocks. Oh and I have a question... I use ACID Music Studio 6.0 to make my music and mix it and such, would I be able to plug the Kaossilator into ACID and make loops based on what I've done with this little device?

  • @DJSnwfall sure you can =), but you have to remember that the kaoosilator is more of a synth than a mixer/recorder, so you have to record it like its a live instrument/loop

  • Thanks for the helpful overview. If I would want to connect the Kaossilator to my PC soundcard for recording, could I use a cable coming from the headphones output on the K.? This works for my Casio SK-1.

  • sure no problem, but i would recommend using a RCA to Stereo jack cable so you can get better sound qualty

  • Fantastic tutorial! It's way more helpful than manual. Thanx.

  • I think that you should be rewarded/payed by Korg corporation, because your video manual / lessons are exactly what Korg should do for good promotion!

    Thank you Bro!

  • cheers buddy, helped alot!!

  • Much respect for this video man. Thanks.

  • Bro, you've done a great job on your tutorial and mod videos. Keep it up.

  • is it possible to erase one track that you just recorded without "fixing" the rest?

  • You have produced a splendid tutorial here, sir. Most informative, clearly demonstrated and charmingly enunciated. I have learned so much more about this wonderful instrument. I was having a great time messing about with it ad hoc but now I am equipped with knowledge! I salute you with gratitude because the instructions included with the Kaossilator are not nearly explicit enough. Many thanks.

  • Very helpfull. Why cant manuals be this useful? Thanks
