Braces/Jaw Surgery Vlog 4 - Week 23 Update

I started orthodontic treatment 23 weeks ago and will be having jaw surgery in about 12 months time. I will video blog from time to time to let you see how it's progressing!

I am being treated at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, which, conveniently, is where I live.

Hello Amanda I am in my 40s and have my braces on for two weeks now I am freaking out as nothing is fitting together and my teeth feel like they a going inwards instead of being straight. I have power chains on also as I have twisted teeth in the back. I'm afraid that my mouth will be smaller afterwards. I'm a singer so don't need a smaller mouth.

@lianeisme Awww don't freak out! Every week my bite feels different but any movement is good, have faith in your Ortho ;)

Hi Amanda...I have to say Hi!...I had my braces fitted last week and have a very similar problem to yourself. I'm due to have surgery next year some time...it's been fab to hear someone in the UK going through something very similar to me. Thanks for the inspiration :0) DaisyD
